Registry

Below is a link to a list of suggestions for wedding gifts, mostly tools that Addison will need to start-up her new farm business, but also some household items that we hope will be in rotation for many years into the future! While we hope this list is helpful to you, we would be grateful for any gift (handmade, act of service, donation to a cause we support, etc.) at any price point. We recognize the cost of travel and time that you’ve already given to attend our wedding, and we consider your presence the ultimate gift! Anything else is much appreciated but extra.

Feastland Farm

Feastland Farm is a planned, >1 acre organic vegetable farm beginning its first season on land subleased from Broadturn Farm in 2025. Our business plan is centered around the goal of rebuilding soil health, sequestering carbon and enhancing biodiversity while feeding and building our local community.

As we're getting started, we plan on using intensive, no-till farming methods to grow nutrient-dense produce for a small 35 member Vegetable & Print CSA, imagined in collaboration Ana, who owns her own successful printmaking business in Portland, Maine. During the 24-week season, CSA members will receive 6-8 seasonal vegetables each week alongside a handmade print based on the contents of that week's share.

Depending on the outcome of our first season, I hope to gradually scale our CSA membership up, increasing the number of shares by about 65% each year. Additionally, I would like to supplement our CSA revenue with a handful of local wholesale accounts as I gain confidence as a grower. My ultimate goal with the farm is to remain under 2 acres, and gain yields through efficient, lean practices rather than by increasing our amount of growing space.
