EMILY: Hello. Ana, meet (your future wife) Addy. We’re all art students!

ANA: Hi. Nice to meet you. I am only 20. Can you please buy me a G&T?

ADDISON (older, 22): Sure.

Addison, Helen (Addison’s college BFF and bridesmaid), Ana, Emily, and Associate Professor of Studio Art Read Baldwin sit around a crowded table on the final day of the Spring semester. Addison and Helen graduate next week. Ana and Emily leave campus for the summer tomorrow. 

READ: You are the greatest students that the Studio Art Department has seen in the history of this college.* And you’re all 21 now. Congratulations! Have some pitchers of beer on me.

MAY 2018, LATER THAT EVENING, EXTERIOR: THE KOKOSING RIVER, GAMBIER, OH.

Addison, Helen, Emily and Ana walk towards the river after talking around a fire at Kenyon’s Brown Family Environmental Center. Addison and Ana walk ahead whispering and exchanging glances. They approach the dark river on the warm, humid Ohio evening.

ADDISON: We should jump in the river!

ANA, EMILY, HELEN: Woohoo!

Clothes go flying and the four friends jump into the river.
